In 2009, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, Louise Sukle, publisher of Woman Newspapers, asked me to blog about my experiences. Writing this blog helped me make some sense out of the chaos of a cancer diagnosis and treatment, to find a bit of humor within the suffering. I hope I’ve left some guide marks for others to follow.
Seven years later, I find that survivorship has its own challenges and triumphs. We’re all survivors of something, or many things. I hope that my blog posts translate to help anyone who finds herself knotted up in this great adventure we call life. This is my intention.
